Established in 1989, our firm provides legal services in Sarasota, Manatee, DeSoto and Charlotte Counties. We represent clients in Florida as well as clients who reside outside the state of Florida in divorce cases and other family law matters including:

• Enforcement and modification of Florida court orders
• Domestication of out-of-state court orders
• Establishment of paternity
• Establishment and enforcement of custody and visitation rights
• Establishment and enforcement of child support and alimony
• Preparation of pre-marital agreements
• Obtaining and defending domestic violence restraining orders
• Mediation of family law matters
• Negotiation and preparation of martial settlement and property distribution agreements

We strive to provide our clients with competent legal representation, at affordable cost. We provide comparable services of a larger firm, while effectively keeping costs down. Our staff includes a full-time paralegal, with more than ten years experience in family law and working with family law clients. We have a full-time office manager, and we take advantage of all forms of technology that allow us to work effectively and as efficiently as possible. Our office is fully computerized, including calendar, scheduling and electronic filing which further allows us to represent our clients efficiently. Our office is conveniently located in Venice, Florida, approximately mid-way between all courthouses in our service area. For your convenience, we accept most major credit cards.

We understand that family law cases come in a variety of sizes and shapes and that each case is unique from any other. We represent clients in simple cases that are uncontested or involve little assets and liabilities. Nevertheless, even in these simpler cases, we can assure that your assets are fairly divided and that responsibility for marital liabilities is properly assumed.

Our firm also handles the most complex cases involving substantial assets. We provide the expertise necessary to properly value and divide assets such as 401k plans, stock options and even business and/or corporate interests. We know that spouses rely on the division of these assets made now to protect them upon retirement.

We know how to verify financial disclosures to assure our clients that all of the assets and liabilities are fairly accounted for. We have an established network of accountants, appraisers, psychologists and other non-legal experts, with whom we can work closely to achieve the best result for our clients.

We represent clients in resolving difficult and emotional custody disputes. We understand that situations involving physical or sexual abuse, substance abuse or psychological problems require confidentiality and compassion, as well as legal experience. We are cognizant of the emotional turmoil often surrounding family law matters, especially custody issues and have the knowledge and resources to best assist our clients and their children with these matters.
